COMMITMENT: Full time
DURATION: 3 years Fixed Term contract
REMUNERATION: Basic salary of between USD 2500 to 3,400 monthly equivalent in ETB based on qualification and experience.

Position Summary
As Impact Manager for Reach for Change you are part of a smart, brave and passionate team, working locally with our projects in Ethiopia and with the Central Program & Impact Team, reporting directly to the Country Manager, Ethiopia with a dotted line to the Program and Impact Director. The Impact Manager is part of the Central Program Team, and works closely with other local teams and the partnership teams to deliver a high quality Impact Management and Measurement system for programs and projects that helps to capture evidence in line with the 2030 strategy, the impact framework, and donor requirements. Part of the responsibility is to ensure that learnings from projects are systematically captured and used at all levels by taking the learning needs into account and be part of developing the capacity of the local Impact team, and other relevant staff. The Impact Manager is expected to have a high level of self-initiative and use strategic and critical thinking skills to identify and fill gaps in the current Impact Management and Measurement.
Your overall main responsibilities includes:

Line and budget management (Staff Management, Mentorship, and Development)
Lead the local Impact team and create cohesion between team members working in different geographic areas.
Line management and supervision of Impact Officers and interns, including recruitment of such.
Manage the performance of direct reports through performance management, coaching, mentoring, training and development.
Be responsible for the wellbeing and performance of your subordinates i.e interns, volunteers and program officers who report to you.
Develop the capacity of the impact team in IMM aspects, cross cutting and industry trends
Manage the overall Impact operations within budget and in line with financial policies and provide monthly forecast updates to the Finance Manager to ensure that the operations are delivered efficiently in order to maximize the impact.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY/DUTIES:IMM System Establishment and Implementation
Support the establishment, rollout and implementation of organizational IMM system in line with Reach for Change 2030 strategy, donor requirements and trends in the industry
Ensure the evidences generated through the IMM system are synthesized, disseminated to relevant stakeholders and utilized for strategic decision making, continuous improvement and learning in programming purposes
Set standards, timelines for internal reports and ensure that required data is gathered in a timely manner and with high quality on global indicators, total direct and indirect reach data.
Build strong relationships with colleagues and provide support as required to ensure IMM system is understood and supported at all levels
Ensure that all programs in Ethiopia comply with Reach for Change Impact Management and Measurement strategy, systems, standards and good practices.
Project design and implementation
Work closely with the program team to ensure that IMM becomes an integral element of proposal development and project implementation, and ensure technical support is provided so that all projects have logframe, IMM plan and measurement tools in place and implemented accordingly.
Ensure external accountability to donors through the implementation of timely and quality IMM activities leading to timely and accurate reporting
Support the development or adaptations of tools for data gathering and for reporting purposes. Ensure technical support is provided in the preparation of periodic reports for donor, government or other stakeholders
Ensure data is gathered on systematic and consistent manner, and utilized for decision making and reporting purposes
External Reporting and Representation
Ensure high quality impact reports, assessment findings , including evidence of good practice are produced to illustrate RfC impact and that they are communicated at appropriate events.
Ensure that RfC is represented at relevant external meetings to enhance collaboration,best practices sharing and maintaining RfC’s role as a thought leader within
Ensure IMM related donor, government and other key stakeholders compliance are understood and addressed accordingly
Your shared team responsibilities include:

Contribute to efforts to share best practice, ideas and experience on successful implementation of the programs externally and across the markets.

Education & experience:
We expect you to tick of of most of the below:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience from similar positions in international development.
A university degree in a relevant field.
Experience from work within the philanthropic/non-profit or business sector.
Experience in being part of complex proposal development processes including development of Theory of Change, log frames and Impact Frameworks for applications to a wide range of donors (primarily institutions and foundations).
Experience in overseeing development of logframes and project budgets, for example through coordination of inputs from relevant colleagues.
Experienced user of Microsoft Office/Google Suite and ability to quickly understand and use web based applications and platforms.
