About the role
We are looking for two dedicated Project officers for Reach for Change, Sweden. You will be working towards realizing our vision to create a world where all children and youth reach their full potential. With a focus on Reach for Change's Swedish investment in democratizing social innovation with the aim of building an inclusive Sweden where all social entrepreneurs have the same conditions to succeed, you will be working on project activities with the support from and in cooperation with the local and global team. As a Project Officer you will be responsible for planning and implementing project activities in Sweden and the Baltics, including facilitating collaborations with social entrepreneurs and municipalities, designing and implementing workshop-series, organizing events and roundtables as well as in collaboration with our Communication and PR Manager promote our projects externally.

Main Responsibilities:
Project management within Reach for Change’s Swedish investment in democratizing social innovation through capacity building and ecosystem development.
Plan, coordinate and carry out activities that are in line with both the Swedish and global strategy to improve the lives of children and young people.
Manage existing and or new projects, e.g. writing project plans, applications, reports and other follow up activities.
Drive and deliver project activities of our local programs for social entrepreneurs.
Collect data on the progress of the participants supported within the program to ensure we are able to measure the impact on the program on their organizational development.
Organize events, webinars and other meetings in cooperation with partners for the community of social entrepreneurs and other stakeholders.
Support the development of relationships with key stakeholders and partners in Sweden.
Support PR initiatives in order to create visibility and thought leadership for Reach for Change
Other responsibilities:
Contribute to efforts to share best practice, ideas and experience on successful implementation of communication and programs externally and across the markets.
Continue to build the sense of ‘One Reach for Change’ by promoting a collaborative culture and efficient sharing of resources across all Reach for Change teams.
Responsibility to build and retrain your own knowledge about the field of social entrepreneurship and innovation.
Share knowledge internally across functions and markets contributing to RfC continued development as a learning organization and externally supporting RfC strategy on thought leadership and ecosystem development.

Ability to implement and use suitable tools and models to carry out activities and reach objectives.

Knowledge of common needs and pitfalls of early stage organizations would be considered an advantage.
Good listener that can understand people's needs and is able to influence and negotiate in a good manner.
People & communication skills
Able to effectively communicate and interact with other people in both Swedish and English.
Ability to receive and convey information from and between different target groups.
Good abilities in networking and interpersonal communication.
Ability to express thoughts in a well- organized, well-structured and grammatically correct manner.
Ability to use different forms of communication to clearly convey messages in a manner well adapted to the receiver.

Education & experience:
We expect you to tick of some of the below:
Experience from similar positions and project management.
A university degree in a related field, e.g. business administration & development, social entrepreneurship, political sciences, or similar.
Experience from work/volunteering within the philanthropic/non-profit, public or business sector will be an advantage.
Knowledge and experience of local ecosystems and political structures will be an advantage.
Experienced user of Microsoft Office/Google Suite and ability to quickly understand and use web based applications and platforms.
Professional proficiency in Swedish and English is a requirement.
