POSITION: Content & Social Media Officer
REPORTING TO: Global Communication Manager
WHERE: Stockholm, Sweden
COMMITMENT: Full time - Fixed term with strong possibility of becoming permanent.
DURATION: 1 year - From May 2025 - April 2026

We have done this for 15 years, and during this time supported over 3000 social entrepreneurs, in 18 countries across Europe and Africa, who in turn have reached over 4.7 million children and youth.
Who are you?
You have a genuine interest in creating engaging digital content and writing compelling texts for digital channels and enjoy keeping up with the latest social media trends and insights. You understand the complex and changing social media landscape in social media and why communication is an essential tool to support the growth of our impact as an organisation. You tick some or several of these boxes:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in similar positions, with a good understanding of social media management, graphic design and copywriting.
A university degree in social media, communication, marketing or similar.
Proven experience in planning, developing, and posting engaging content for digital and social media channels.
Proficient in Adobe Suite, Canva, and other design tools.
Quick to learn and adapt to new web-based applications and platforms.
About the role:
You will be responsible for planning and implementing social media content and supporting the creation of campaigns and other communication activities and as part of the Global Communication Team. You will report to the Global Communication Manager. Responsibilities include:
Social media/content production:
Social media content: Manage the day-to-day social media communication production and planning, including planning calendars, scheduling and posting.
Content creation: Design and create compelling assets and copy including short captions and blog posts for digital channels with focus on website, LinkedIn and Instagram.
Local support: Support local teams in strengthening their own social media content and campaigns productions.
Channel growth: Lead on growing follower numbers and engagement levels for our social media accounts.
Social media strategy: Support the global communication team on updating and executing the social media elements of the new communication and brand strategy.
Assist in creating compelling graphic designs and messaging for project campaigns and communication activities in order to reach our objectives
Lead on setting up paid campaigns in Meta and LinkedIn with assistance of the global communication team.
Evaluation and monitoring:
Monitoring and evaluating our social media performance and KPIs.
Track and analyze social media data to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and social media engagement.
