About the role

As a Project Officer at Reach for Change, you will support the coordination and implementation of programs and projects in Sweden. You will assist with planning and delivering program activities, coordinating with partners and stakeholders, and ensuring activities are implemented according to agreed plans and timelines. Working closely with the Sweden team and global colleagues, you will contribute to project administration, event coordination, data collection, and learning from program delivery. Through your work, you will help strengthen our support to social entrepreneurs and contribute to the impact of Reach for Change’s programs.

Reach for Change is a global non-profit founded in Sweden. Our vision is a world where everyone can shape their own future. We're working towards this vision by unleashing the power of local social entrepreneurs and enabling them to go from ideas to innovative solutions and sustainable organizations. We were co-founded by successful entrepreneurs in the non-profit and business sectors in 2010, and since then we have supported more than 2,000 social entrepreneurs in 18 countries across three continents.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the coordination of project activities to ensure they are delivered on time and according to agreed plans.

• Assist in the implementation of project activities, including contributing to the development and delivery of capacity-building support for social entrepreneurs.

• Provide logistical and administrative support for events, webinars, and meetings in collaboration with partners and stakeholders.

• Support the application of Reach for Change methodologies, tools, and processes under the guidance of the Country Manager, Sweden and Global Head of Programs.

• Assist the country team in implementing program activities and documenting insights from program delivery.

• Assist with partner communication and coordination, including preparing updates and materials in collaboration with the communications team.

• Support data collection and contribute to monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities.

• Support basic budget administration, including tracking expenses and compiling information for financial reporting together with the Project Controller.

• Maintain organized project documentation and stakeholder contact records.

• Support the preparation of project reports and other required documentation.

• Assist in coordinating communication with key stakeholders and partners in Sweden.

• Support communication and PR initiatives to help increase visibility and thought leadership for Reach for Change.

Other responsibilities:

• Contribute to sharing good practices, ideas, and experiences related to program implementation and communications across Reach for Change teams.

• Help foster a collaborative culture and efficient sharing of resources across markets and teams.

• Continue building your knowledge about the field of social entrepreneurship and social innovation.

• Share insights and learning internally across teams and functions, contributing to Reach for Change’s development as a learning organization.

Education & Experience:

We believe you bring some of the following:

• A university degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience through work, internships, volunteering, or studies related to project coordination, entrepreneurship, social impact, or community initiatives.

• Experience from the nonprofit, public, or private sector is an advantage but not required.

• Familiarity with the Swedish social innovation or entrepreneurship ecosystem is a plus.

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools.

• We work in both Swedish and English. You should feel comfortable communicating in both languages.
