Reach for Change is a global non-profit founded in Sweden. Our vision is a world where everyone can shape their own future. We're working towards this vision by unleashing the power of local social entrepreneurs and enabling them to go from ideas to innovative solutions and sustainable organizations. We were co-founded by successful entrepreneurs in the non-profit and business sectors in 2010, and since then we have supported more than 2,000 social entrepreneurs in 18 countries across three continents.
What we can offer
As a Finance Intern at Reach for Change, you will be part of a small, collaborative Finance Team, supporting day-to-day financial operations and helping ensure that processes run smoothly and accurately. You will work closely with colleagues in Sweden and interact with international teams and stakeholders, gaining exposure to how finance supports a global organization.
Your responsibilities will include a mix of accounting, coordination, and administrative tasks, such as:
Supporting day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping
Reviewing invoices to ensure accuracy and proper documentation
Assisting with financial reporting and follow-up
Organizing and maintaining financial records and supporting documentation
Supporting budgeting and compliance-related processes, e.g. project budget follow-up or documentation for donor reporting
Supporting the team in handling finance-related queries from colleagues and external partners
Collaborating with colleagues and partners to ensure smooth financial processes
Providing general administrative support when needed
Through this, you will gain hands-on experience in core finance functions such as accounting, reporting, and financial administration.
You will be given real responsibility from the start, with the support of experienced colleagues in the Finance Team. Regular check-ins and ongoing feedback will help you develop your skills and gain confidence in a professional environment.

Who you are
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Are comfortable working in Excel and/or Google Sheets, experience with accounting systems (such as NetSuite or similar) is a plus
Previous relevant work experience and/or experience in accounting is a plus
Have strong attention to detail and a structured way of working
Are proactive, reliable, and comfortable taking initiative
Are curious, eager to learn, and not afraid to ask questions
Have good communication skills in both Swedish and English (written and spoken)
